Ceiborg produces automatic backup and archiving system that takes the best of both tape and disk drive. This system is based on writeable CD/DVD technology. CD/DVD readers are available on all PCs so it is very easy to recover lost data. Unlike disks it lends itself to off site storage and archiving. The company may use disk drive for temporary backup storage during the day and complement it with Ceiborg CDS-10 or CDS-20 for the off-site and archiving at the end of the day.

Ceiborg systems have a max capacity of 5TByte of uncompressed Data Storage (10Tbyte compressed) and the operation is totally automated by use of robotics. The automation includes printing a unique label for each CD/DVD. It can also create multiple copies of the backup to be taken to a safe place by different members of the company. The system can be easily installed by using the popular USB port.
